Ok so it's really a 3 1/2 star book. I guess I save 4 stars for books that were really enjoyable and 5 for AMAZING books! I liked this one, it was easy to read (I read it in one night), it was predictable but the journey towards the enviable ending wasn't as predictable so there was a little suspense there. It was fun, clean, enjoyable and worth my time :)

Although I liked the overall story and pace of this book, I could not stomach the ending. It did not ring true for me. And even though I really only enjoy reading happily ever after books, it didn't feel complete.

A pleasant, clean historical romance. I enjoyed Donaldson's first novel "Edenbrook" and was happy to see she kept this one clean as well.

Love her writing. Not as good as her first one and the ending did lack but overall it was a good schmaltzy read.
Very predictable, thoroughly enjoyable.
quick little clean, silly romance. I enjoyed it. just don't pick it apart and expect it to be realistic. :)

Actually enjoyed this book more than her first. A fun easy romantic Regency novel.
