Great perspective shifting book for all ages. It really made me think that I have in the past been one of those neighbors that passed judgment about trivial things. This was really a good reminder that people have stories and different perspectives and in the end, we just need to look for the good.
This is a very quick read, and I found it to be really enjoyable. Its a sappy middle school romance, but with great lessons about what really matters. I think the female character is a lot like the star girl character from Spinelli, and I loved that book too. Really enjoyable.

Cute story with a great message....”you never know what other people are going through. Don’t judge!” I loved Juli’s resourcefulness and ability to get things done.
Cute, good for teens
clever and funny. amazingly original voices and characters. deep moral message, but executed with a deft touch. highly recommended, especially for the 12 yr old crowd.

It was a cute book and I have the movie from Netflix waiting to watch, but I did think the ending was a little abrupt...but maybe that's just me. I kind of expected the book to go further into their lives, not just through Junior High...

This was a recommendation from my 13 year old daughter. Watched the movie and loved it, read the book and loved it even more. Super darling book.
Short and sweet and unexpected. I laughed and I cried and enjoyed how Bryce and Juli flipped.
