I finally got around to reading this after hearing about it from so many people. It was a great book....I didn't know about Japanese internment camps so this was a history lesson for me. I loved the relationship between Henry and Keiko and I was so sad for what Henry's father ultimately did that kept them apart. This story is told from a perspective of history that I didn't know much about. I appreciated that perspective. At times, I wanted the story to move faster and get to the meat. I did really enjoy the last couple chapters where everything came together.
