I really enjoyed this story. Miri was an excellent character. Hale portrayed a believable mixture of insecurity and natural strength and leadership skills. I loved the way the different relationships developed between the characters. And the story was very interesting, too.
I think I would have liked this more if I had read it in book form but I was pleased that it didn't turn into The Selection like I thought it was.

What a cute book. I listened to the audio book, which was a full production with actors for all the roles. This is a good story for young girls, with themes of the importance of family and girls finding strength in themselves. I like The Goose Girl better, but I also enjoyed this one.
I think I'm the last one to finally ready this! I really enjoy her writing, cute book!
