What Members Thought
This was a fun read. I was pleasantly surprised how I got into and had to know what happened in the end! I found myself speculating what I thought would happen. I liked how Hale developed Miri as a character and it makes me want to read the other books in the series to see how she continues to grow!
It took me a while to get into the book, but once I did, I loved it! I especially loved how it kept me guessing clear up until the last few pages. I admire Miri's strong character, courage, and perseverance. A great, clean read!

This was a fun little book, and I am so grateful Shannon Hale is around for my daughter to read. Her books have such great role models for young girls.
Cute, wholesome, and fun, I'll be recommending this to my daughters in the future.

I love Shannon Hale's books, but I didn't quite connect with this one the way I did with some of her others. to be honest, I thought it was a little bit cheesy, and not quite as enthralling as some of her other reads that I dearly love

I got this from the library for Jenna to read, and then read it myself first. Quick, easy read (one afternoon - I was sick and had no energy to do anything else). Cute, fun story line. I'd recommend it for girls around Jenna's age.

Cute. Didn't really like the end though I think I would've preferred Miri to have to make the choice outright, but that's probably just me.
