It's not often that I give 5 stars to a book - especially an adult fiction one. But this one deserves it. I love survival stories, and this one has TWO survival stories in it. One physical, the other emotional. Just a fantastic read, start to finish. Only one swear word and zero sex. I can wholeheartedly recommend to all my friends.

When the main character Ben would talk in his "inspirational" emotional way I got really bored and would skim over it. (Ie. maybe glue takes time to dry. Maybe bones take time to mend. Maybe it okay that the mess I call me is in process.) bleh!
