I needed this. Sometimes, you just need to read a fairytale. And I love fairytales. It reminds me of the magic of childhood--when everything is possible and the world is a mysterious and magical place full of enchantments and princes in disguise. I am always happy when I find engaging, yet clean, authors. As a conscientious mother, I try to be well read in YA fiction so that I can recommend literature to my children.
My only qualms about this book are how quickly the story ended. It was definitely rushed.

This is a sweet retelling of Beauty and the Beast. As I was reading this, I felt so familiar, and then I realized that I had read this when I was a wee lass! It's a beautiful (no pun intended) story about a class love story.

Love this book. Love the retelling. Wish there was more development about their relationship. Fun, light hearted read.
