I have read this book with both of my boys and will read it aloud when the next one's turn comes along. It is one of those fantastic pieces of literature that lures boys into staying up to read and gets them looking forward to the next chapter. It is truly a piece of fine fiction, a classic in it's own way. 2 million copies sold, and you have to appreciate Gary's own life experiences that make the writing come to life.
