4.5 stars - a fun book to read! Now I find myself wishing Sherwood Smith would write complimentary novels for Crown & Court Duel from Shevreath's pt of view. That would be so much fun to read! This book is a great addition to two of my favorite stories ever (Court & Crown Duel).

This book surprised me by making me think much more about leadership and discipline than I would have ever expected from a YA fantasy book. Thank you to the author for an enlightening read.
...well the books are well written, but their cover images leave something MAJOR to be desired...
The book, though long and with names I tried to skip over reading for simplicity sake,was a great read that pulled me through each page. Fun story...now on to he next
