Ever since The Dark Artifices was announced right around the time the release of Clockwork Princess (which was almost 4 years ago) I've highly expected it, and the appearances the characters made in TMI made me slowly love them even more. But now I've finally finished it, IT WAS WAS A WORTHWHILE WAIT OF 4 YEARS!!!!!! Cassandra Clare just knows so much on how to manipulate her stories without it being too repetitive but still has a unique touch from all the other series.

The family dynamics within this story is my favorite part. Each and every Blackthorn has found a home in my heart. Clare brought Autism to the table in this book, as well as mental illness, and as a teacher who works and understands this kind of population, nothing makes me happier then see it entwined into a world like YA where it is very rare and also be seen in such a affectionate light.

Love, love, love!!!! Cassandra Clare never fails when it comes to creating characters who captures our hearts. From our main characters Emma and Julian to our more secondary characters like Tavvy, each feels fleshed out and I feel in love with all of them!
