I waited so long for this book. and now that I have finished it, I feel empty.
But on the bright side, we have two more series coming....
I don't think it was possible for any mortal instruments fan to hate this book. I mean you'd have to be crazy. I LOVED EVERY SECOND OF IT! (except when there was an important thing going on and stupid maia's shit came in between)

When I finished reading the previous book in 2013, I could not wait for this to be released a few months later. I wanted to know how everything would turn out, how everyone would end up. When I finally got a hard copy of the book, I could not read fast. I didn't feel bored, I was just busy. This has influence my 3 stars rating a lot. I could not properly get in the book like I did with the other volumes of the saga, especially the first three. In my opinion the story had to stop there.

"I'm happy to report that City of Heavenly Fire is the best of the last three. I'm very satisfied with the ending. I loved it. Everybody got their own happy ending which is fitting after all they've been through. I also appreciated that the past, present, and future characters mingled together in this finale.

I still like Jace and Clary but I'm more in love with Simon and Isabelle. And Magnus Bane as well.

City of Heavenly Fire is a worthy opportunity to bid our favorite Shadowhunters farewell and ...more
