Oh my Fucking God!!!!!!!!!!!!! This book....this book...I can't form coherent thoughts right now. I loved it so Fucking much. Oh my Fucking gracious!! It's 530 am and I finally finished.....but now I feel hollow. Omg this 2 year wait is the evil of all evils....like Sebastard...sorry I mean Sebastian. Fuck me this wait is bull Shit! Fuck! Okay well full review to come after a few hours of sleep.

My review(Major Spoilers from first 4 books and minor from this one)

Sebastian is back and has disappeared taking Jace with him.Clary,Alec,Simon,Isabelle,and Magnus are ready to do anything to find him even bargain with dangerous enemies and allies alike.This is one of my favorite TMI books.It has great adventure with Clary going all over the world to beautiful places while being in serious danger.Alec and Magnus are going throw a rocky patch and Jace being missing hasn't helped.I do think that M My review(Major Spoilers from first 4 books and minor from this one)

Cassandra Clare does a great job even with all her characters apart keeping us up with all the information we need and leaving us with everyone just the right amount of time before switching locations and characters.Clary and Jace are together(in a way)so don't think you wouldn't get to read these two's entertaining verbal sparring.

Sebastian really comes into his own as a villain and character in this book.You learn so much about him.I hate him with a passion but some readers have even grown to like even love him because of what was said in this book.But not me in fact this book made me hate him more then ever and made me even more positive that he can't be saved.In fact this quote reminds me of Sebastian:

Some men just want to watch the world burn.It was said in one of the Dark Knight movies and fits him perfectly.

The beginning isn't as action packed as you get toward the end when everything is reveled and it was worse then I could even imagine.If the above quote didn't clue you in Sebastian makes Valentine look like a sane human being.Between the fight scene at the end and the club scene between Jace and Clary this book left me breathless and very happy that Cassandra Clare's wit and humor are back in this book.I can't wait to read City of Heavenly Fire the last book in the series and see how it all ends.

'Okay I finished City Of Lost Souls
I LOVED IT
I could understand how Clary Felt....I mean to know Jace is not there yet you she can't stop loving him.
As for Sebastion I liked him you know I mean I really thought he was cute and was actually becoming good, a big mistake on my part
And at the end when he kissed Clary I was....creeped out cause I have a brother
Simon and Isabelle!! They rocked they should totally be together <3
And I can't wait!! would the fairies and vampires be against shadowhunte ...more

Okay, now that’s out of my system, let me review the book.

Nothing comes close to the awesomeness of The Mortal Instruments. I loved having the gang back in my life again and I almost cried my leg of when I had to leave them at the end of it. I can’t really put into words a review of City of Lost Soul because I just can’t stress enough how fantastic it is. Back the review, I thoroughly enjoyed the wider range of POV's in this book. I'm glad we got to see more of Isabelle, she is without a doubt, my favourite heroine of the series. (view spoiler)
Simon's character has developed immensely, I can hardly believe he was the same lanky boy we met in COB - not that he isn't still lanky, I don't think vampirism involves spontaneous generation of muscles. Simon is brave, honourable and unwavering throughout the book and no longer just lingering in the shadows of the shadowhunters. He is a shadowhunter - angel blood or not. my respect for him has doubled even since the last book and I feel Clare is really letting him shine.
Jordan Kyle, is it weird that I find (view spoiler) I may be wrong and Clare just thought that that was how his character was always meant to be, but I guess I'll find out in COHF.

I promised that i would do a good full review but i can't without giving spoilers!

Pros:
-Clary shows that she is no longer the fragile shadowhunter.
-Sebastian aka Jonathan dialogues.
-Jace being Jace.
-The "night club" scene.
-Maia and Jordan relationship
-Isabel finally admitting she loves Simon
-Finding out little bit of Magnus pass(gotta love Magnus).
-And the in end but not least some debate about who is Brother Zachariah(Will or Jem?)
Cons:
-the end of one relationship (can't give you the goodies ...more

This was amazing, but I just read Clockwork Princess, and nothing can compare!
OK, Sebastian making moves on Clary made me vomit.
Oh, and I loved any Infernal Devices reference, and any mention of Will made me happy. And I love Brother Zachariah and his care for Jace, because he's Jem and he wants to keep the Herondale name going! ...more
