So having finally read Book 2 in this trilogy, I have to say this is more or less a 3.75 out of 5 stars. It wasn't as interesting to me as the first book was and while I am not a big fan of this series, it left me wanting more and annoyed by some things.

I would marry this book.... I simply adore this book in a way a child would with their candy. There are times where I would pluck my hair in frustration; the humour the novel contains, accumulated an abundance of laughter and joy. I didn't simply fall for this book because of the humour, I found the humour to be a key aspect that separates 'Clockwork Prince' from other young adult fiction.
