I have to admit I like this version slightly better but I get why it was cut. Jace was to dishonest and cunning and Clary was on the verge of being boring. However, there where such cute moments in their and I liked the moment with Magnus in their. In the final verison he seemed more like he was playing her but in this one it was almost like he was mentoring her.
