I thought this was overall a good read. However, it seemed like it took a long time to get to any action. The first half of the book dragged a bit, but then the last half had much more action and was more exciting.

Its not as good as the first book, but it's still good.
What really derailed this book for me was how much of an asshole Jace was. Nothing that everybody said to him seemed to not register through his thick skull, and has the audacity to try and do things alone and realizes that help was right there all along when the shit started hitting the fan. Maybe it was Cassie's way of trying to write Jace VERY similar to Valentine(since they're "related"), in which, she nailed it and all is forgiven.
