This is one of my favorite series and I have read all 5 books at least 3 times each.This series has everything I love in a fantasy novel:Action,Adventure,Passion,Romance,Great Writing,Funny Lines,and Great Characters(hero and villain both).The world Cassandra Clare has created is magical and rich with danger lurking behind every corner.This book is told in the 3rd person and gives it so much more depth then if it had been told in the first person.I felt like I was there with the characters be it

Definitely one of my favorite books/series ever! I can not wait to start the second book! It is beautifully written and I love that Clary is not your typical blonde model type girl and I love that Jace is sarcastic and very guarded. Although the ending left me speechless...I can't believe how the relations worked out...I'm praying its just a trick and its not true..I'm pulling for Clary and Jace if it is a trick..overall I would recommend this book to EVERYONE!!!!
