When I was about 7 or 8, I used to leaf through some of my dad's books on circuits and electrical connections. Pages and pages of little diagrams and grids; nothing that really made any sense to me at that age. But for some reason I was transfixed by the tiny images and little details. Page after page I would just 'read' through these books with some sort of fascination.
