ETA: Finished Reading (7/2/15):

While I didn't struggle with this book like I did when I was 10, my mind did wander quite a bit while reading this. I don't blame the book, more like I am a little too old for the age group it was written for.

I'm happy to finally have finished this Canadian classic. This is an achievement for me.

I thought I had read this as a child, but I don't think I ever did. I loved it and can't wait to read the next two in the series! I listened on Audible and the narration was wonderful, and really brought the book to life. I feel like if Anne was a real person, WE would be kindred spirits! And Prince Edward Island in Canada sounds so lovely; I hope I can visit there one day. I highly recommend this classic book! ...more
