Although I've been in love with the stories of Avonlea since before I can remember I'd never read this book until I was 28 years old. I absolutely fell in love with it. Megan Follows is the definitive "Anne with an E" and I am so happy to finally have read it.

Read with Tim. Saw the movie with Megan Follows first. The character Anne is enchanting. There are passages of description that you know were written with Montgomery sitting in front of that exact location. Her love for her island is on full display here.
