Wow scary how people lose all human emotion and become very animalistic.
Human beings are inherently selfish, cruel beings. Given a chance they'd take no time to slip into savagery. This book illustrates just that using an example of a bunch of boys marooned on an island.
There were some parts in the story which were gripping, horrifying even. Other than that, I was mostly bored reading the book. ...more
