What Members Thought
If this were any author but Twain, I probably wouldn't have finished this book. There are enjoyable parts but quite a few other parts I didn't think would ever end. I'm a history buff, so I enjoyed those parts; my only complaint with those is that, in any fiction but especially Twain, the reader never knows how much is true and how much isn't. Sometimes you can tell he was yanking your chain, but other times who knows.
