What Members Thought
I think the Grapes of Wrath is one of the better "American Classics". It gives a harrwoing tale of the Great Depression through the eyes of a family from Oklahoma who goes to California in search of work. It si fairly similar to the other well-known Steinbeck book Of Mice and Men both in its writing style and subject matter. Overall a high quality work of historical fiction about America during the Great Depression.
