Eh, Treasure Island was okay at most. I certainly liked it more as a kid. Actually it took me like two days to read the last 30 pages and that says something. Maybe because I was already familiar with the plot, or the Long John Silver twist, or with Ben Gunn and the fate of the treasure, once the action moved to the Skeleton Island, things got a bit boring for me.
Trasure Island by Robert Louis Stevenson was not as good as I thought it would be. I had heard it was a classic pirate story that helped us get our stereotypical pirate today. Now before I say any more it was not a bad book by any means, it just didn't live up to expectations. The plot at times was a little difficult to understand, and the old english pirate language didn't help either. However it was a pretty good adventure story, with some good charecters and and overall a decent to good book
