I did not have this as a reading requirement in high school, but I am making sure to add the classics to my lists due to there literary importance. With this completed I was wondering why we didn't read it in high school however I most likely would not have found the meaning that I have currently. How do you write a review about a classic separating the weight and influence of the book from your real feelings about it?
I decided to read this book this year for two main reasons: 1. I'm trying to read more classics; 2. The announcement that a second book will be published next summer.
I dare to say it's impossible to start reading "To Kill..." without any expectations. But still, this book has spoken to me in so many levels.
