Excellent writing, decent story, bad treatment of minorities. For some reason my copy is marked as a 'thriller'; I wouldn't label it as such. The pace stems mainly from the story being very short and it containing mainly dialogue.

Well, Of Mice and Men was a short and enjoyable. It tells the story of George and Lennie being migrant farmworkers during the 1930's. It was barely over 100 pages and was fairly easy to read. It was a very symbolic book with plenty of refrences to the time and location of the novel, and its theme is still very applicable today. Overall a a good recommindation for most readers because it is short and also a pretty good book.
