"Of Mice and Men" was actually the first book by Steinbeck I read and in these first moments after i finished it, I didn't like it at all. Maybe because of the fact that I cried my eyes out like I've never cried before (thank God, there was no one at home, I'm sure my wailling scared the neighbors). But it took me some hours to appreciate the book's true worth.
A very powerful and moving story, you'll certainly never forget.
I won't recommend it thought to people with weak hearts.
