Well, I think that this is my second favorite Hemingway novel after The Old Man and the Sea but ahead of The Sun also Rises. It was much longer than his other books as my copy was over 500 pages but it still didn't feel like it was too long of a read. It was all in all a pretty good novel about the Spanish Civil War. ...more
