This is a book you can summarize in a sentence, maybe two. That being said, the title proves very apt.
I think I liked it but even then I am not sure. I know that it is highly allegorical in nature, but besides the obvious I think a lot of it escapes me.
I understand of course the foolish nature of going out for something with passion, realizing the goal, and then having it torn to bits. It is as old as Icarus. But there seems to be something more. For example, what is to be made of a man with so ...more

So well written, this is an amazing story of a person going after his ultimate dream following a lifetime of experience that prepares him for this quest. With a great deal of suffering, patience, and resourcefulness he overcomes the oppositions in attaining his goal. In the end, there are those who come and start to try to demean and take that victory away from you.
