I feel like I'm Nick as I read this book. I dislike Tom and Daisy, and I sympathize with Gatsby. He is someone I would love to have as a friend. Wilson, he is suck a weak man - in both mind and body. If he wasn't the one that pulled the trigger, he might have my sympathy.

Shelves: re-read, high-school

One of my favorite books. I was planning on rereading this before seeing the movie, but I ran out of time. It was interesting to read the novel and hear the actor's voices in my head. Since I had the time, I took my time rereading this; I read about a chapter a day and just savored the language. FSF's writing is just beautiful. ...more
