I first read this novel either in high school or in my first year of college. As with many of the other "great novels" that I read at around the same time period, I did not enjoy the book very much. This go round, I really enjoyed it, which might have something to do with the additional 20+ years of life experience I now have under my belt. I'm left wondering if I need to revisit some of the other books I read during high school and college to see if this was just an anomoly or par for the cours ...more
