A crazy ride of a book that includes incest, racism hypochondria and misogyny among a family of mostly unlikeable characters. The first chapter, told from the point of view of Benjy who is intellectually disabled and does a lot of crying, jumps around in time and I started to think there were mistakes in my ebook version. I disagree with the vast majority of other readers. I was unable to enjoy this novel considered to be Faulkner's best. Mainly I found that his style is full of allegories, lyrism and a lot of metaphoraes. This is not my favourite writer at all.
