I had to give this book two tries, but I finally finished it! I really enjoy Eliot's style, but the story was difficult for me to get into. All in all, I liked it, but I may have to take a good, long break from George Eliot. At least until this summer when I have more time.

An excellent book with loads to think about. I have to give this 5 stars for the amazing writing and memorable characters.
