What Members Thought

Abridged books should be banned.(I'd read and not been much impressed with that version before) This was my foremost thought after starting with this adventure.
It was a wonderful read, full of wit and wisdom, packed with adventure, duels, political intrigue, jolly debauchery and suchlike. 16th century France was an exciting but dangerous place to be, especially if one were involved in politics and religion c.f.
