Finally, the longest buddy read in the history of buddy reads ends (took us eight months). The first time I read The Count Of Monte Cristo was when I was on a Dumas binge as a fifteen year old over my summer vacations (when I was supposed to be preparing for the 'most important exam' of an Indian student's life). I am glad I took this time re-reading it. Having finished it, I really miss the book, like a part of my daily routine has gone missing.

Whoops, I didn't realize until way invested that this edition is abridged. It's startlingly hard to find an unabridged edition.
