Like most everyone else, I have read or watched this story dozens of times. Heck, I even played a good 20 or so performances as the Ghost of Christmas Past in a horrible production when I was young. It's hard to read the original Dickens without thinking of every Scrooge cliche imaginable. But something about this read (older? more relevant?) really impacted me this time.
