I somehow got this far into my life without reading Great Expectations, and now I'm not really sure how. It was awesome. It's easily one of the best classics on all the basic levels. Strong plot, interesting characters, great writing (I don't understand people who don't find Dickens funny. I'm usually down for differing literary opinions, but I just think this one is objectively wrong). ...more
