Shelves: wheel-a-thon
Willa Cather uses such artistry in painting a picture in writing. Everything is so vivid, yet so comfortable. I love her strong female heroine of this novel, Alexandra...stronger than all of the male characters around her. The novel is both tragic and hopeful.
