I read this via Audible sometime in 2018 and I absolutely LOVED it! Thandie Newton was the narrator and she was awesome. I read this book back around age 15 and it was even better 50 years later! I had forgotten a lot of it and I'm glad I listened to it this time! ...more

One of the best books I've read so far. The story is lovely and the characters complex. You love, hate, understand and criticize them all the time while reading. Jane makes you think about how listening to your heart and instincts while balancing your reason can work when you make important decisions or try to find your place in the world. It also makes you think about how can women think beyond their time and how to stay true to yourself matters even if you make mistakes, fall in love or is in ...more
