I will probably change to 5 stars after I mull this over because it was very lovely but very tedious for me to read.

What I found most amazing about this book is how timeless it seems to be. Remove the habits and culture of the period, and you could be reading about families and friends of today. As I read the book, I could pick out people I know whose personalities match those of Austen's characters. I could read this book again - something I rarely do! ...more
