What a great book, I mean, except terrible ending… how can you end a book like that?.. is that a spoiler? Well I’m sure some people love the ending, so seeing how it’s personal preference maybe it’s not a spoiler?

I liked the book but I felt like I wanted to know more and you were always left on the outside. I guess thats what she was meaning as this is a book not really about love but about society and its expectations. I think she made her point well and in a good way. Must be why it won a pulitzer prize. I just couldn't relate well with the story so it isn't one of my personal favorites.
