What a cool book I found WAYWARD SON to be. Such an interesting read that far exceeded what I’d expected. WAYWARD SON, truly a provides a full book within a book.
While I was initially intrigued by the impressive modern young surfing archeologist, Amanda James; in the end it was the biblically sampled story that gripped me. Being a Christian, I was particularly taken with Cain’s life. I loved how the authors cleverly weaved him into so many of the major historical and biblical events. What a tho ...more

Remember when you were a child and wanted to become an archaeologist and dig up dinosaur bones? Now, be prepared to take an adventure to find the most important piece of history ever discovered. Wayward Son is unlike any historical fiction I have read. The opening of one door leads to thousands of years of history being uncovered before your eyes.

Pastor Skip Heitzig's official endorsement for Wayward Son's second printing!
"I was riveted to Wayward Son from the very start. As a blend of historical and Biblical fiction, it is a compelling tale of struggle and redemption. I simply could not put it down!"

This book had an interesting story, it's just not the type of story that holds me. It was well written with some very great scenes. The only thing was that it reminded me of junior high mythology and my freshman year at college sitting in my art history classes. Those were not good classes at all for me. For anyone who likes ancient art this would be a great book.
