I understand the popularity of this concept, and it would have been enjoyable except that I love the original too much and it actually got boring reading through all the zombie additions.

I thought it was hilarious. Don't read this if you expect something very philosophical or really intelligent, or a litterary masterpiece.
It's just a nice book full of ninjas and zombies, and if you love ninjas and zombies, you should read it. ...more

the premise works much better than I thought it would. It is not just a straight copy and paste. The zombies dovetail quite nicely into the plot line and the humour, though very reliant on ninjas, at times is very good.
