What Members Thought

When I first heard about this book I thought I woundn't like it because of it's utterly depressing back drop but nevertheless decided to give it a try as it had such great reviews and to my surprise found it to be highly entertaining. An absolute page turner which should not be missed by book lovers.

I'm not really into YA novels. The Characters I read and write about are usually adult, but after reading the description, the story sounded interesting so I bought the book. Surprisingly, it lived up to all the hype. It has to be one of the best books I've read so far this year. Suzanne Collins has a gift for story telling, and I would highly recommend this book to anyone.

Another YA book triology that is making the rounds as an international best seller, The Hunger games triology. The Hunger games, Catching Fire and Mockingjay....these are the three books that make the series. As usual i found out about this book from my new best friend goodreads.com in a YA books disscusion forum and it definitely proved to be worth it.

I frantically reread this before I saw the movie yesterday and am proud to say I was able to finish it before I saw it. It still remains one of my favorites books with a strong theme, characters, setting, world and overall just really strong. I believe the mvoei did justice to the book and am thrilled. can't wait to see Catching Fire.

Well, i liked this book, a lot. I had heard about it from a lot of people so thought id read it to see what all the fuss was about and now? Im completely hooked and waiting for the second book to arrive! I really liked the main charecter Katniss Evergreen and thought she was a easy charecter to connect to as well which made me connect with her more. The main boy, Peeta, wasn't too bad either. He wasn't a natural survivor like Katniss but he adapts well. My favourite charecter in the book though,

I'm so glad that Katniss volunteered for Prim. Poor Peeta. It must be so hard to really love someone so much when they can't return it.
