Loved it, even more than the movie, which is saying something. Really enjoyed all the updated (30th anniversary) commentary.
I will happily read this book again. It has everything you’d want in a fairy tale.
Goldman put all the best parts of the book in the screenplay. So, the moments I love the most in the film are here with more fun scenes and comic moments.
He interrupts the action to tell you something about the original book. It’s so cute. And...it has me thinking, was there actually an original book? Or is it all his own? I really don’t care because I love it that much. :-)

This book reminds us that we meet witches, princesses, ogres, dragons, and other fairy tale creatures in human form every day and also that life is ultimately unfair. What a great read. So much better than the movie.

Loved the story. Loved most of the "extras" but the introduction was too long and the end "Buttercup's Baby" seemed to drag for me. Probably because of the extra commentary.
