What Members Thought
I think I'd actually give this book 3.5 stars. I had heard so much about it that I finally decided to give in and read it. It was an interesting story and very interesting to learn about the culture of these Japanese Geishas. It wasn't my favorite book or anything, but I enjoyed it.

This book was excellent. Made you wonder at all if it was a true story and also about how cultures differ.

I read quite a few years ago, as I was recovering from back surgery.
It was interesting to learn about how different a geisha life is.
It was interesting to learn about how different a geisha life is.
This is a fantastic read, it is beautifully written and such an incredible insight into another culture and tradition.
