Hard to rate this. I don't want to get into the politics of it, religious or otherwise as so many reviewers have done in such depth. So as an entertainment...well, I read the whole thing, and it will stick with me for awhile. But I disliked some of it, the "big hunt" I had to skip, and I did get very frustrated with some of the characters...the father, I realize was crazy, but why is the mother so spineless when her youngest child is so sick? It's been a little while since I finished this book, three weeks or so, but I couldn't write about it for a long time.
