What Members Thought
This is my first Stephen King novel that I have read and I didn't know what I was expecting to be honest. Although I thought a little slow to start. I thought this was a really good fantasy novel. I liked how the author mixed in snippets of other fairy tales through out the story.
I would love to see this made into a film. I think it would be a hit for fantasy lovers out there. 5 stars from me. ...more

Maybe my favorite Stephen King. This book is everything that turned me into a reader as a child. I didn't want to put it down and I certainly didn't want it to end.

Started off interesting but then it dragged on too long, I would have enjoyed a shorter story.
