An emotional story about the journey of grief, loss, the struggle and the strength it takes to find your way forward after the death of a loved one.
I found it really hard to like the main character in this book, Katy Silver. I liked the setting of the book though so I finished it.
I only enjoyed the last 3% of the book. I don't think the main character was supposed to be unlikable. The way the books starts out, particular how she treated her husband, made me dislike her right off and it was hard to appreciate the journey she was on after that. I feel like there are ways of writing flawed, confused, sad characters without making them self absorbed. All that said I feel like there are people who will relate to her and her situation better and will enjoy this book.
