Readers depart on a cat-and-mouse adventure where the author and characters are playing games. While solving a mystery, another pops up in its place. Penned in the same style as 'The Guest List' the fast-paced story and short chapters offer glimpses into the story but purposely doesn't provide answers.

The second half is where a high-speed chase ensues and as a tip, try to read that section in one sitting. Stopping and starting takes away from the story and readers fill find themselves strugglin

Not my typical read...a best selling mystery...but it was just what I needed. A page turner. Most of the characters are either hopeless, or clueless, or in in some cases both . The men are typically evil, criminally greedy, poorly parented, also hopeless. Not clueless, they are conniving.

Since most of the people who will view this will already have heard of The Paris Apartment, I won't give anything more than that character sketch. I knew if I didn't like it, I could stop reading, but Jess caug

Slow at parts. The ending is fantastically happy and I optimistic. The twists were predictable which in part reflects that the book was well thought out and that they fit with the rest of the plot.
