Really loved the book, one of my favorite books of 2018. I laughed a lot and I cried a lot. What more could you want from a book. Loved how flawed Evelyn was.

90% of this book was amazing. But she shoots it down at the last chapters.
I cannot understand Monique's reaction to the Big Reveal. It doesn't make any sense. The alternative would have been so much worse, for everyone.
Frankly, her reaction, her actions, her words, her anger, was so absurd for me, that I almost threw this book out. It was almost GOT finale kind of reaction. :-D Almost.
I loved the last sentence, though. :-) That was very nice. :-)

Why does everyone seem to love this chick's books so much? I've never liked anything I've tried to read of hers. So many people madly adore this one in particular, and I couldn't get going in it. Maybe someday when I'm feeling optimistic I'll give it another try.
